Anniversary gifts

I’ve had two guys contact me lately, each approaching their 7th year of marriage, each looking for copper jewelry for an anniversary gift knowing it is their “year of copper or wool (or desk sets).” One asked for a copper nest pendant with a freshwater pearl “egg” for each of their children.
The other one designed this personalized necklace with their initials on hammered copper tags, the year they got married (in Roman numerals), a heart for love, and a rose which has a special meaning in their relationship.

  1. Your sweet bird's nest "done right" just popped up in the "You may also be interested in…" section. Are you reading my mind? And if so, why didn't you do it 2 days ago?! I hope you don't mind if this gets posted on my blog as a followup to my entry yesterday: http://www.sharylsjewelry.blogspot.com/2011/11/2nd-annual-challenge-of-color-blog-hop.html

I can see now where I went wrong. I knew it was a matter of physics, but couldn't seem to figure it out. It seems so obvious to me now! Isn't that always the way!

I always learn something new from you, Anne! Thanks!

  2. It looks like the two men who approached you sound like really nice guys. I especially like the guy who created the pendant because it was so thoughtful and creative. It must have taken a lot of effort for him to finish it.

    1. Thanks for your message! I love being able to take an idea from a customer and make it into reality. I work with some really creative folks and it makes me happy to collaborate on a project.
